SA: Name bay after Dame Roma: Vanstone

Justice Minister AMANDA VANSTONE says a small seaside bay should be named in honour
of Dame ROMA MITCHELL.

Dame ROMA, who died in March, had a holiday shack near two bays at Carrickalinga, south
of Adelaide.

Senator VANSTONE says naming one after her would be a fitting tribute to one of the
area's most famous residents.

She says South Australia's Administrative Services Minister ROBERT LAWSON has promised
to consider the issue.
