Fed: Exiled Democrat to make up his mind
Self-exiled West Australian Senator ANDREW MURRAY is due to make up his mind todayabout whether he'll stay with the Australian Democrats.
But the public may be kept in the dark until tomorrow.
The Democrats over the weekend gave Senator MURRAY an extra 48 hours to meet the deadlinefor a decision on whether he'll stay with the party.
The Perth-based senator has until close of business today to meet his deadline.
This follows more than a week of internal tensions in the wake of the resignation offormer party leader Senator MEG LEES.
But Senator MURRAY may give his response at the close of business in Perth, which istwo hours behind eastern standard time.
Senator MURRAY is considering whether to join Senator LEES as an independent afterhe criticised the leadership of Senator NATASHA STOTT DESPOJA and the party's direction.
