NSW: Motorcyclist dies after collision at Sylvania
SYDNEY, April 7 AAP - A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a four-wheel drive
in Sydney's south, NSW police said today.
The 24-year-old Miranda man was riding north on the Princes Highway at Sylvania yesterday.
About 10.55am the motorcycle collided with a Toyota four-wheel drive which was turning
right out of Clare Street onto the highway.
The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered extensive injuries.
He was rushed to St George Hospital by ambulance, but later died.
The driver of the Toyota, a 30-year-old Sylvania man, was not injured in the crash.
The motorcycle was taken to Engadine Police Station, where it will undergo a mechanical
inspection.
