FED:Gillard urges indigenous changes=5

Ms Gillard said the government had delivered in early childhood by delivering infrastructure,
staff and programs in remote communities and town camps.

Community-based pre-schools were now more affordable.

In 2010, nearly 15,000 indigenous adults and children visited one of the 45 Communities
for Children services sites to receive assistance with early learning and literacy, parenting
and family support and child nutrition.

The government approved funding for 10 new child and maternal health services across Australia.
