QLD:Bevis still hopeful of retaining seat

The incumbent Labor MP for Brisbane says there's still some hope he'll retain the seat.

Counting is continuing in the undecided electorate .. with Liberal National Party candidate
TERESA GAMBARO ahead of incumbent ARCH BEVIS by 657 votes on a two-party preferred basis.

Mr BEVIS says there are still 16 thousand votes to be counted .. and he won't give
up hope of retaining the seat he's held for 20 years.
